More notes on Brighten the Corners in Ipswich
Brighten the Corners is a not-for-profit organisation in Ipswich. It started as an annual festival but has become so much more. Spanning five venues throughout the town, Brighten the Corners is doing something this town has been yearning for since the 1960s. The organisation has managed to bring touring bands to Ipswich, which we previously had to go to Colchester, Norwich, or London to see. The festival part must have helped make Ipswich a regular stop on touring itineraries.
So this episode of the podcast is as much a celebration of how brilliant Ipswich is for live music as it is a slightly wonky live review.
